The affordable work vans concept was created by David Haggart of Beaver Falls, PA. when he founded Blackhawk Motors. Dave has twenty-one years experience in the automotive business. Blackhawk Motors specialty is affordable work vans. We usually have around fifteen work vans in inventory ready to go for under $6,000. We also offer a complete notary service doing titles and T-plates. 95% of our inventory is purchased directly from major utility companies. These are well maintained utility owned vans and are personally hand picked by Dave. These vans are head and shoulders above what you would find at your local car dealership.

Our work vans are purchased from Ameritech, Ohio Bell, GTE, East Ohio Gas, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Duquesne Light, Cincinnati Power, Equitable Gas, Kentucky Power and many other quality corporations. When the work vans arrive they are immediately shipped to the mechanical shop for new Pennsylvania inspection and Emission tests. Anything needed is done then. Next they go to our paint shop for a new coat of white paint. When these work vans leave our lot they look like new. We can outfit any work van (full size or mini) with roof ladder racks, interior shelving, and cargo screens (some work vans may already have these).

We also offer Extended Warranty Service Contracts underwritten by Preferred Warranties Inc. from three months to thirty-six months that are good nationwide and are very reasonable.

We are conveniently located five minutes from exit 15 on PA State Route 60, fifteen minutes from exit 2 on the PA Turnpike, twenty-five minutes from Youngstown, Forty minutes from Pittsburgh, Thirty minutes from I79 at Zelienople and one hour from either Wheeling, West Virginia or Steubenville, Ohio.

From Pittsburgh

Take the Parkway towards the Pittsburgh Airport
Go past the Airport staying on 60 North to exit 15
Take Chippewa exit 15 and go to the red light
Turn left at the red light
Go to the second red light and turn right onto Braden School Road
Follow Braden School Road 1/2 mile to a stop sign
Turn right at the stop sign onto Darlington Road
Follow Darlington Road 1 mile to the next stop sign
We are on your right at that stop sign

From PA Turnpike

Follow Turnpike to exit 2
From exit 2 follow PA Route 18 South
Travel past Geneva Gollege to Beaver Falls
Stay on PA Route 18 to 24th Street
At 24th Street turn right onto Route 588
Go 2 blocks past Dodge dealership and turn left under railroad bridge
Go up "Steffen Hill" about 1 mile
We are at the top of the hill on your right
(a "Stop n Go" convenience store will be on your left)

From I79 at Zelienople

From the Zelienople exit of I79 follow Route 588 West for about 12 miles
Route 588 goes right past our door
